Principal Attorney - Michael O. Whitmire
Michael O. Whitmire has more than three decades of legal experience consulting and representing clients in the field of business — including issues of contractual relationships, employment matters, and general commercial litigation. In addition to helping clients in private legal matters, Michael also takes pride in educating the next generation of legal scholars as an Adjunct Professor at South Texas College of Law Houston.
Michael has spent most of his life in the Houston area and graduated with highest honors from Bellaire High School in 1985. Michael’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University in 1989 and a law degree from the University of Texas in 1992, where he proudly served as Editor-in-Chief of The Review of Litigation. After graduating law school, Michael had a year-long stint as a briefing attorney at the Texas Supreme Court in Austin and then returned to the Houston area in 1993, where he has been practicing law ever since.
